Kimi Code new versus legacy plans: rolling and weekly limits
Weekly caps differ between new and legacy memberships. A rolling recovery is not a full-pool reset at a fixed time.
Last reviewed
Applies toKimi Code membership; distinguish new and legacy plans.
Identify the membership first
At review, Kimi states that new memberships remove the weekly cap and retain a five-hour rolling rate window. Go has no coding allowance; Plus and above include Kimi Code. Legacy plan names, quota rules and automatic renewals remain unchanged.
Rolling recovery is gradual
Capacity becomes available as earlier usage leaves the five-hour rolling window. This should not be interpreted as a full daily refill at one fixed time. Legacy memberships must also check applicable weekly caps and monthly totals.
Where to verify
The official documentation points to the membership page, Kimi Code console and CLI /usage. Use your own plan and remaining allowance; a screenshot of someone else’s new plan does not establish legacy eligibility.
