Credits do not reset the current window
Kimi describes extra usage as a supplemental balance billed by actual consumption. Time-limited subscription allowances are consumed first; the extra balance is used last. This is not an announcement of an extra universal reset.
Review spending controls first
When extra usage is enabled, the balance can be used automatically after included usage is exhausted. A monthly spending cap can be configured; the documentation says spending is uncapped if that control is not enabled. Review both the switch and budget.
Balance validity and subscription validity differ
At review, the documentation says the extra balance does not expire and can be accumulated. It remains spendable after membership expires, although new top-ups require an active subscription. Current rates, purchase conditions and refund rules remain governed by the official page.
