Codex resets: personal recovery versus extra official resets
Distinguish ordinary account recovery from an extra reset announcement, and check the plan and product scope.

Two different kinds of reset
An account allowance recovers under its applicable plan rules. An extra official reset requires an explicit announcement. One person seeing recovered usage does not establish a universal reset. Reset reports public announcements, without reading private usage or confirming individual receipt.
Five-hour limits are not universal
At review, OpenAI gives five-hour local message estimates for Plus and Standard Business and states that Pro currently has no five-hour limit. Follow any weekly or other limits actually shown in your account rather than assuming a universal weekly schedule.
Check the scope before acting
Read the product, plan, eligible audience and execution time in the announcement, then check usage in the same account. A plan, a completed reset and a saved reset entitlement are distinct. An announcement of future action does not mean usage has already recovered.
